Re: Damn you Urban Gentry!

Your wife is right. That watch is horrible and for the money, the Oris is much better value. Now I have to disagree with two people. ;) Value is a personal thing. Anyways the hardened case makes it better value for me. I am tired of scratchy stainless or titanium. Well if that’s the case you might ...

Re: nth sub

I like it. Good choice of orange shade, simple clean dial. The hands remind me of modded Seiko but that's ok.

In Koreatown for a kids birthday party at an Escape Room event. Escape Room seems like a cool concept. I'm much less impressed with K town.

Re: Sinn SDR Question

I like both versions. The SDR makes the watch appear larger IMO, due to the continuation of the black from the dial. To my eye the standard bezel appears smaller. I prefer silver, but love the SDR on the U1P. The black holds up great. It’s also easier to read the bezel numbers on SDR. All true. Sin...

Re: Hodinkee's "One-watch" article

I'd choose either the Speedmaster Professional or the Planet Ocean 2500 as my 'one watch'. Both could pretty much do it all for me, with the PO tipping the balance due to WR. That said, I hope I never have to choose just one ;) Amen brother! And great choices  I really like the NAFTS, but Sei...

Re: Hodinkee's "One-watch" article

I like the Sinn 757 and EZM10, although the subdials might eventually bug me (and I don’t own either). I wear my Gulfman most days. Nothing in my collection speaks to me that loudly anymore. Wtf. Need to re-evaluate.

Re: Here's an interesting new motorcyle

The Yamaha "Niken" (two sword, from my martial arts days, eg. Musashi's dual wield) The concept was proven years ago by Piaggio with their MP3 line of scooters, so it's not a new idea, but it is definitely a leap forward in performance. The front is where you want all your traction, for sure. https...

The IP address comment looked like a threat, but I’m not 100% on what he meant. Either way he was more annoying than I could be even if I tried.

I could say I should have kept the one or two I’ve bought and sold, but that gets to be a long list. Love your modded version.

MUZAK - Whatcha listen'n to???

Rob Halford doesn’t have the scream he used to but still a good listen. Listening to the album on Prime music.

If it was a Seiko they’d be calling it the ‘tuxedo’.
