Re: Mini Review: Poseidon Professional 500

You guys are making me regret selling mine. Looked up some pictures and I definitely owned the yellow version.

Re: Surprise!

Did you lose weight? Definitely not. :raised: It may have come off in a work glove and then fallen out of the glove when I put the glove on the chair. Work glove is a likely scenario but you need a better story. Some kind of ***action*** got you really sweaty and the ring must have slipped right off.

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

https://www.ghsindex.org/ seems very contrary to most news coverage No kidding. I've been hearing great things about Greenland's preparedness, and that's not what I'm seeing on the map. Have to take news coverage in context. Most of the news coverage comes from developed areas. We see a v...

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

I’m confused. Why do you want your dryer in the air? Much easier to unload; it’s a getting old thing. that was my guess. i didn't want to call you out. Some new front load washer models are sold with a riser option (for a few hundred bucks!) that is also mini washer for delicates. F that....

Re: Lockdown Food Cravings...

A good Greek Gyro. The local place is shut. On the flip side, I have been making Hawaiian pulled pork in my slow cooker. One medium size pork butt (last one we bought was about 7#) is worth a solid 4 meals for my family (rice bowls, quesadilla's, etc.). My backyard TiKi bar is branching out. It's a...

We got a small place near me that make a mean bowl of Pho, I make it at home, but cheat on the broth, and it's never as good [emoji53] https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200404/e47ea051dce12fac53980aa80fe215d6.jpg Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk Might have to retract my prior statement. Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

Just bought a handful of these SPF face masks on Amazon. Pretty inexpensive (about $10 per) and certainly not N95, but readily available and better than nothing. Plus, my wife likes the SPF 50 rating. Plus, they'll still be useful for fishing / boating once this pandemic is over. https://thecoastal...

Virtual backgrounds from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (animated ones, too!) https://www.whoi.edu/virtual-backgrounds/ Sent from my Note8 using Tapatalk How HM do you use these? Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

I just had to shave my beard and get fit tested at work. I’ve had one since I was 17. I’ve never shaved my beard- they always used to Mark me as “beard- PAPR”... but they made me do it. I failed. Barely failed the 3M version, duckbill didn’t fit at all, and moldex was a fail too. So I’ll have to we...

That blue dialed model has a really nice laid back look, although the GMT hand stands out too much. I agree with earlier comment that it should have date.

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

Seriously though, I don't feel good tonight. I have a bunch of tightness in my chest and my lungs itch. I realize rationally I'm probably just having anxiety and allergies, but fuck this is getting to me being in New York. I'm so glad I'm not in NYC. I know. I hope you are fine, but every time I wa...

Ok. Gonna be the dick. How about if mod deletes posts going down the arguement road. Stick to topic. Unite against thread-jackers. Sorry - thought the topic wasn't political in any way at all. DWC is kinda known for threads going off topic, but if you want to be the topic police, go for it. You thi...

Now that Wu closed the other thread maybe another investment thread to figure out how not to catch a falling knife? I've seen them done in other forums I belong to and all have seemed to keep politics out or to a minimum. I've got about $5k I want to stuff into Vanguard ETFs and don't think I misse...

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

Since it was mentioned, we also made sure the we built up an emergency fund, specifically for a time like this. We aren’t even considering touching it yet, as we both still have jobs and have paychecks coming in every 2 weeks, and other income coming in monthly. **Also moved a couple of bigger piec...
