Welcome to the madhouse Alex  As the others have said, a Sinn U1 would be a really good choice if you can save some more money. In your current price range I would add a Helson to the options
Haha. I had Sinn on the list until I remembered there was a budget.

Re: Cutting up a Zulu - 10 min project

Did pretty well...though I think ToxicNATO's business is still pretty safe ;-) Ideally watch lugs curve or angle down to be near as possible to level with the case back. Otherwise you have these issues and the thing perches precariously on the wrist and straps like NATO's just don't work. Yep. Some...

Re: Introduction & Advice needed

Welcome! I’m no expert but take advantage of your wrist size and look at picking up something from Graeme’s SAS models, a Seiko Sumo and something from the Zixen line. The SAS May be tough to find at 600 Euro though.

Re: Another new wallet

Like the minimalist design but don’t know how you guys pull it off. License, couple of credit cards, couple of insurance cards for me and child, couple of bills. If it fits six cards and holds bills it works, and that's a mid to large size front pocket wallet. If you skip insurance cards and carry ...

I saw on the news that quite a few of these folding Samsung's that were given to reviewers have had major screen problems within a couple of days use.
The news report I saw yesterday was about how these are breaking while on loan to tech reviewers.

What a tough looking watch Terry, and check out how the aluminum bezel is textured. Really continues the finish of the case right onto it, and is a little different. ..The whole combo just works ! It's stealthy, but somehow bold too !!  Thank you sir !!! I agree, really...

Bought a couple pair of 505’s, one with stretch just to try them out and also the color wasn’t available otherwise. They slide down. Not impressed. Going to have to wear a belt and won’t be buying stretch anymore. With stretch denim I have found that I need to size down 1-2 inches in the waist. I h...

I agree there’s not much new, but they are clean and balanced. Apart from not being 200m rated they look like a good offering. Perhaps not made for the collectors, but nice enough for the regular folks who want a “divey” watch and thankfully aren’t drawn to Invicta’s offerings.
