Re: WRUW 2 April 18

Dinner watch is my Farer Lander, which I love more as i wear it. Best Buy of 2017 for me no doubt. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180402/9fd9e5002f37e8b997ae09385938fb15.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180402/08dcb5f952b5743ce03c8e7c68c39020.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180402/...

Re: Marinemaster / 62mas hands on the SBDC053

I like the idea as I'm not a fan of the fitted hands, and think the MM300 is an all-time classic. They maybe a little short, but I'd still have them over what it comes with.

Re: MM300 being discontinued

I've had and let go three I think, and will probably get another, but not one with the X/SP logo. Clever it might be, but it's too X factor. As for the price increase, it's a risky strategy as it pushes it into the territory of other potentially more luxurious pieces. But none of watch ownership is ...

Beatles - McCartney just can't sing
Oasis - one or two good songs but the rest is whining drivel
Marilyn Manson
One Direction - of course

I too didn't like the bracelet. Just didn't look like at the point it met the case and I didn't like the taper.

Now on my third and this time on rubber only, and I'm liking it much more! Photos to follow.

It's often one detail that makes or breaks the love for a watch - that is a stunning caseback. And it's lumed, so perhaps one of my favourites.

Lucky chap!

Another yes here, looks superb.

Brushed rather than PCL is a must for me. It absolutely makes the Explorer bracelet, and absolutely ruins that on the SUMO.

Re: Seiko 50th Sumo LE- Buy now or wait it out?

Can't make up my mind on the LE. In some photos I love it and in others I'm indifferent. Then again I've felt the same about the Sumo, hence being on my third, and hoping it stays put!

Great looking watch in steel, and I'd love to have the opportunity to handle one. Same goes for the Laguna. Mixed feelings about whether it would work in PVD, but look forward to the photos.

Great choice Carlo. They are excellent watches. I've had two (not at the same time!) and only flipped them when funds were needed for a grail. Outstanding quality in every aspect, and the bracelet is as good as the IWC.

After a complete purge to acquire the grail, nothing's left around to displace it from the wrist http://i946.photobucket.com/albums/ad307/OldHooky/20141219_132104_resized.jpeg As it should be. Glad to see it properly work (on a nato). Congrats. Thanks. It's as though it's developed it's own pedanti...

Might well be very useful, but so is a roofbox, and I wouldn't put one of them on a Ferrari.

Re: Struggling to find the right size Diver

Thanks for the replies. The B&R does look good, although I wonder whether the same hands as an Explorer might proves a little dull? Seiko is the obvious candidate, but I found the 007 boring and too shiny, as are the other similar models. The Sumo would be ideal is 2mm smaller. Halios is a good sugg...

Struggling to find the right size Diver

Morning all Despite the numerous choices out there I'm struggling to find the right Diver. Wore a 7002 for about 15 years, then a SMP, before a 36mm Explorer became the daily wearer. I really do miss a Diver and it's the preferred option for weekends and summer months in T-shirts. The problem is tha...

Re: The Perpetual Wrist Shot Thread

There are some fabulous watches on this thread! A couple of the Breitlings have converted me and worse, made me want one. Which only means one thing: flipping something in the collection! My contribution to the thread, and something which in light of all the watches here, is in danger of being sacri...
