Re: Would you trade a PO 2500 for a Pelagos?

I traded my Planet Ocean 2500 for a Pelagos a couple of years ago and it is one of the best decisions in my watch journey I made. Love the Pelagos way more than I ever loved the PO. Do it, you wont regret it

Heeringbone weave straps UPDATE aka Omega

Just placed an order too. How do they compare with the PhenomeNato? Honestly imo right up there. But there are some differences. His has a sewn in buckle and it is around .5-.7mm thinner. I personally don't like the thin buckle he uses, but when you want a sewn in hardware there are some sacrifices...

Re: Got the itch for a (old school) pilots watch

42mm monopusher http://i.imgur.com/FqZNhRAh.jpg?1 40mm dual pusher http://i.imgur.com/1VVQSF1h.jpg?1 I think the dial layout of the 40mm is a lot nicer than the 42mm. Ugh. There was a dude selling a LNIB mon-pusher on ebay. I had him down to $1200 but somebody bought it before I had a chance to com...

Re: This is haunting me

Its so, not you! How much wrist time is that going to get with all those Rolex, Blancpains & APs you have? Dont waste your money on a watch that you will hardly ever wear. You are doing it due to lack of anything new. Sell one of the others you have and get something that will actually get wrist time.

Pelagos

I had the PO 2500 and traded For a Pelagos and it was the best decision I ever made. The Pelagos is one of the very few I think I will always have. The PO bored me after a few years but the Pelagos is such a timeless design that I just can't see it ever boring me as the dial depth is too good. The P...

Re: Karlskrona Treudd - New design renderings

Seiko Hands suck, from my perspective - they are plain ugly. Sword would be better (though lightly larger than the ones you have in the renders) - that said ,there are so many similar watches out there like that with the sword hands, so to stand out maybe try a few more hand options?

Thanks. Its a GP 30 anni Fiat - it was given to Fiat employees who had reached 30 years with the company. They then obviously sold em, which is why I have it.

Re: Designs for limited edition Squale

Love that Polish Forum one and the one that Page & Cooper did - I am a big fan of square indicies. I like the P&C as well ... had one in my cart a few times but the crown issues talk always kept me from pulling the trigger. What was the crown issue? I had the Fifty Fathoms style blank bezel one fro...

Re: Jomashop Warranty - Transferable?

I'm hoping this works out with Paypal because as we discussed earlier I'm going through the same thing. A supposed well known seller tells me the Certina is brand new and includes a warranty card in the sales post. I get the watch, it's already sized and has swirls and scuffs on the bracelet. Also ...

Re: Jomashop Warranty - Transferable?

I sold a watch that I had bought from Jomashop and the buyer found that it didnt hold the power reserve - so I helped him send it back to Jomashop, with all the details I had when I bought it. They have it at the moment and are fixing it - will see what the outcome is - but it should be transferrabl...

Reckon the strap it is on is the way to go. They are made for sailcloth straps and looks great on them.
