Re: New Godzilla Ecozilla
I love my old Ti Ecozilla. Got an early Zulu strap set of Walt's adapters on it. It is a big puck on the arm. I love the beast.

Re: New Doxa LE from Dubai Watch Week
I'm afraid the new DOXA is becoming a fashion watch company. I honestly haven't been fond of any of the new releases, to date. This one has an unreadable bezel and the extra text on the dial- meh.

Re: TAD has sold.
They burned me on a jacket that broke down. Really disappointed me as I’ve spent sooo much money with them over the years. I’ve boycotted them since. Still love the stuff I own but they don’t stand behind their products. TAD or PDW? My wife ordered a TAD jacket for me probably 7-8 years ago during ...

Re: TAD has sold.
TAD items were great back in the day. Then they unceremoniously let Patrick go, and they began to focus on style vs. substance. Patrick starts PDW and gee, PDW is thriving while TAD is gone.
Still love my original TAD Dispatch bag, Stealth jacket.

Apparently a 300T "Clive Cussler" version that appears to be stonewashed, with a well worn yellowed map for the face. Interesting.

Re: Origins of the ScubaPro 500?
Hey Seth
I too have always appreciated the Scubapro 500. I saw a post, somewhere, long ago about the history but it is lost.
The watch's design hits all the high points for a dive watch.
I'll do some digging this weekend to see if I can come across that post.

OK, I admit I too really like this one. Always loved the Milsub handset, and the FF bezel and other details somehow just "work"

I still love Panerai, have a few, but I wish (among many other items) that they would study their own history. I mean, really, there isn't any historical references out there? WTF?

Uh... no
Better than some of these LEs of theirs, but... Really?
Like buying a Porsche GT3 and fitting JC Whitney spoilers and underbody LEDs.

Re: any datejust owners here?
I've had my blue stainless Datejust now for 28 years and still love it. My wife had the Rolex dealer swap out the hands and face when new, something that was stopped soon afterwards IIRC. The most comfortable watch in my collection, and as stated before, can be dressed up or down.
