aren't these limited editions? how limited are they?
Yes, they are apparently limited, but we have no idea how many they're going to make. Sorry to keep giving that answer, I'm not sure why Seiko has been so restrictive with these basic details, even with their dealers.

Did I miss the full price anywhere? Can’t find it
Unfortunately, Seiko hasn't announced US pricing yet. We're expecting them to be around $500 USD .

Re: New Prospex Black Series

What is the preorder pricing on these? I looked, but only for the NAFT. $250. Do I need another NAFT? Just click on the photo in the original post. Yes, $250 for the pre-order, which is fully refundable if you change your mind. Oddly enough, we haven't been able to get official US pricing on these ...

Re: Timeless Ludwig Limited Edition Review

That's exactly what we were going for. We'd have done enamel if we could, but it would have been prohibitively expensive. Still, the look is basically indistinguishable. It definitely exceeded my expectations.

Re: We've got the new Golden Tornadoes in

I'm not really into the gold myself, but if any watch brand can pull off the absurd, it's G-Shock. I love that about them.

We've got the new Golden Tornadoes in

Check out the new Golden Tornadoes. I know they came out in November but still pretty cool. The gold is a bit much for me on a G-Shock, but I don't think they look bad at all, especially the Frogman: https://timelessluxwatches.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/GSTB100TFB-1.png https://timelessluxwatche...

Re: Check out the new SPB069

While I agree that the 6R15 is long in the tooth, I've always had good luck with it. Back in the day that 50 hour power reserve was really nice when everyone else only had 38-40. It's not like Seiko is lacking in alternatives either. It's got the 6R2X range to draw from (drop a few complications and...

Re: Grand Seiko Roadshow December 6th!

Unfortunately no news on quartz divers yet. Aside from a few technical issues getting the video camera to work (to project the watchmaker on the big screen) it went nicely.

That’s really hot. I’d love one. 1100$ seems high though for a 6r15 Watch
Yeah, I think it's time for Seiko to update the 6R15 with a higher accuracy/power reserve version. I wish they'd just put the 8L35 (old Grand Seiko 9S55) in pretty much everything.

I really love how these new Presages in general look, very Laurel-y. You can click the photo to visit our page on it o...

The size is good for me, 39.5mm. I would also have preferred it without a date though. And hand-wound (but still Hi-Beat, a nonexistent movement) if I'm really going for broke.

Re: New Timeless + Nomos LE

Yeah, Watchbuys seems to have the market cornered with some of its brands. We do like Sinn a lot, but I think we're moving away from German tool watches for the moment and into other areas of German watchmaking. We'll be adding some very interesting brands over the next six months.
