Re: Damn you Urban Gentry!

Your wife is right. That watch is horrible and for the money, the Oris is much better value. Now I have to disagree with two people. ;) Value is a personal thing. Anyways the hardened case makes it better value for me. I am tired of scratchy stainless or titanium. Well if that’s the case you might ...

I just got some OEM SBDC005 hands in considering installing. The aftermarket hands look pretty good, tho...

Kirsty MacColl has such a beautiful voice. Her death was a real tragedy.

Re: Panerai's Luminor California 8 days DLC

I love everything but the sterile dial. I understand the history of it, but it looks like a replica. This. I know 'bla bla history' but this looks like a $100 faux-mage you can get on eBay. Plus I hate Bund straps. And I also hate PVD. I'm with you on the Bund strap. But I don't understand these 'h...

Re: Sinn SDR Question

Now have a U1 Pro, and haven't had any issues with the bezel coating either, although this one is too nice to really torture. I wear the U1Pro for everything, and it’s still perfect. It can take the abuse. I know, and Chris would probably slap me for saying it. But I've gotta have some reason to we...

The Yamaha "Niken" (two sword, from my martial arts days, eg. Musashi's dual wield) The concept was proven years ago by Piaggio with their MP3 line of scooters, so it's not a new idea, but it is definitely a leap forward in performance. Re: Tudor aftermarket rubber straps

I can't help but wonder – with all the new rubber strap makers cropping up (a'la Everest), aren't these all getting squirted outta the same moulds somewhere in either Italy or Switzerland? I just grabbed a "Zealande" strap for my SMPO via Watch Obsession, and it's basically identical to the Everest...

Saw someone posted this elsewhere. Not news for most of you but still pretty neat. It's missing a few brands such as Sinn, Oris, and others. But it's a pretty good picture of who owns who. I personally didn't know Fossil owns so many "mall" watches. https://media.fotki.com/2v2JCTByhxAqZad.png It is...
