Re: Calling all MTB experts

I have a 29+ hard tail and love it, but it would take getting used to if you are used to light and nimble.

Get the tire pressure right and you can drive over a lot, which is usually a good match with my limited skills.

Re: Movie suggestions!!

I thought the Irishman was just OK. Too long, slow-paced, and I couldn't help feel that the whole was a bit less than its parts. I don't see myself ever watching it again. Not exactly in the realm of The Godfather, Goodfellas, etc (or even Heat). Exactly sums up my opinion as well Sent from my iPad...

Re: Badass shoe/boot link thread

I think it was this thread that got me turn onto 1000 mile. Brought several and love them. Fast forward, I see a sale/close-out, a couple years ago and buy a “good buy” If anybody needs a suede green 1000 mile size 11 boot, let me know. Maybe a Irish fan or a perhaps a shamrock with big feet irking ...

Re: Crepas Engelsfisch On Kickstarter

I have had a few and loved them but none of the designs recently speak to me. I have that issue with a bunch the micros I used to like. Their presale system always bugged me, but I got the vibe that American customers were a small part of their sales. I had this fantasy that they didn’t respond to m...

I had such a time taking the bracelet off my Pelagos when I got it years ago that it has been on natos ever since.

I think they look good as well.
I can’t pictures worth a damm. I got a decent Sony point and click a year ago and that isn’t any better than my iPhone, even for still shots, so I am almost convinced it is me.

I love the comment about a date window on a Sub.

I didn’t realize Peart gave up drumming.

No trouble with no-date, but I don’t have an issue with lack of date in most watches.

The dial is perfect as is, IMO.

Re: Calling all MTB experts

+1 for local store for all the reasons listed above. I would figure out where you intend to ride ( or want to ride ) and make sure your bike is a match. Sand or heavy rocks, plus size will make you happy. But, light trails or heavy technical and you might something else. Again, local bike folks can ...

The best advice I have is if you are going to put a rock of meth in your ass, avoid the poppers. amyl nitrate dilates the vessels and with how fast a rock absorbs in the anus it can spell bad news.

I like them. I wasn’t into comics so I don’t know some of the background. Kind of a thing for me and my youngest , who is now 17, and he helps explain stuff to me.

I thought black panther sucked, but all of the avengers and x-men movies were good

Speaking of submarine movies, U-571 is probably one of the best I've seen, and especially so if you have a good surround system. Literally had my walls shaking in the depth charge scenes. I realize it's been out a long time, but it's worth watching. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk Yes, the soun...

From Belichick book

I loved this story. One player said that the coach warned the team to stay clear of the “trifecta.” The player quoted Belichick as saying, “Drugs, pussy, and alcohol. Don’t get caught up in the trifecta.” One morning, Belichick opened a meeting with a little story about potential, and how it related...
