Re: Frickin’ Topper!
Congrats on whatever  You should try having Topper local to you. I think I'm up to 10 or 11 watches purchased there, it's madness. On the flip side, it's nice to have a place local to trade in stuff. Looking forward to the reveal... I’m so glad I live 400 miles away and don’t hang ou...

Re: What is up with watch prices?
Just to add… The more I think about it, I believe pretty much all watches fall into two categories: “practical” (i.e. quartz / smart watches) and “statement” (everything else). In the “statement” category, I’d say there are four sub categories: 1) Luxury (focus on affluence/ success) 2) Premium (fo...

Re: What is up with watch prices?
Brand vs. brand is always a subjective argument. It's clarifying to establish criteria by which you're comparing, otherwise, it's apples vs. oranges around and around without end. There are so many reasons you might value a particular watch. Sentimental, material composition, engineering, history, ...

Re: B&R’s BR X5 watches
I don't understand why watch designers continue to insist on informing the customer what yesterday's date was, as well as what tomorrow will be, in addition to today's date. Outside of that, it's okay; agreed with Art, I'd give it a go @ 65-70% off msrp. It always reminds me of the joke where the t...

First Rivian I’ve spotted on the road. Re: Wrist size, strap size, and watch size input please
For context, I have a 7.25" wrist, but I like watches looser too - so closer to what normal people would use on a 7.5" wrist. Also, I'm through and through a bracelet guy - I only have 2 watches currently not sitting on a bracelet - a Nomos Weltzeit and IWC Portuguese 5007 - and only because I can't...
