Re: No date watches

I like the date, but I also like complications. Big date is my second favorite complication after dual timezone, especially when it is executed well like Lange or VC Overseas Chronograph.

Re: Laurent Ferrier's Bridge One

This is a LF I can't get behind. Looks like a Bulgari Assioma. Or really any other rectangular watch that nobody wants. If it isn't a Cartier Tank or JLC Reverso, it probably is as desirable as herpes. This goes for Rolex (Cellini Prince), Patek (Gondolo), Lange (Cabaret), etc... I am, however, imp...

My ideal is a thin 44mm submersible.

Re: 2019 Watch Goals

For me, I am hoping stainless Rolex sport watches become more reasonable, at least on the pre-owned market. I'd like to add a black dial Sky Dweller and Pepsi.

Happy new year, DWC. To a great year ahead!

Nice display back too. I always thought the FF needs a display back with its nice in-house movement. I think this one will get to -50% relatively quickly, assuming Swatch continues doing what it has been doing with Blancpain.

Re: New router

I have Orbi at the guest house and Amplifi HD at the main house. Love both systems, but the Amplifi tends to have more stable firmware. Orbi has higher throughput, however. In the end, I prefer the look of the Amplifi antenna extenders more, so I went with those as primary. But you genuinely can’t g...
