That seems like a sure fire way to crack impulse jewels in my book! I deal with RR pocket watches as I am a collector and sell quite a few and I have seen quite a few of folks do this to start them up after winding the mainspring barrel and you can bet the impulse jewels aren't long for this world.

Awesome score!!!! I will say that the CB rubber is a sweet setup!! I recently got a CB for my Sumo and I fell in love instantly with it. I loved this watch before, but the CB gave it a whole new attitude. You won't regret buying one for your MM300.
