Strapcode, Miltat, Taikonaut. Who are these guys?
I am looking for some high quality Super Engineer bracelets. I've read a lot about the Stapcode bracelets, but they also offer something called "Miltat". Now I find out these lines may be related to a Hong Kong company called Taikonaut. Before I pull the trigger, does anybody know exactly who are th...

Sent my Monster to the Seiko authorized repair shop in New Jersey. Dialed up the website to pay for the repairs, and ... nothing. The payment did not go thru. It was like the website was dead, it wouldn't respond. I called the 800-number first thing this morning, no one answered (I let it ring for 1...

Re: Very sad - my Turtle stopped working ;(
deepc - the same thing is happening to my monster tuna(cal. 4R36) it won't run when I wear it; or when being stored face up. it will only run face down; and stop within seconds when I put it on.

Seiko 4R36 movement
My SPR637 (cal.4R36) stops running when being worn, and when being stored face up. It will run while being stored face DOWN (saw that on the internets); but will stop within seconds of putting it on. No problems with my other Seiko 4R36 watch. Has anybody seen or heard of this problem? Suggestions?

Long live the King
Casio has put the GX56 G-Shock back into production. The Gen 2 King is available only in black, with a negative face. MSRP $150 (which is what it cost in 2010); and about $260 for the Multiband watch. Be VERY careful about the red, purple and camo GX56s being sold from Thailand. They may be counterf...

R.I.P SKX?
They've been talking about the end of the SKX007 for more then a year. The SKX is still here. So are the rumors. What have you heard? What do you think?

Re: Mini Tuna? Seiko SRP637
Just got my 637 last week. SWEET! Major wrist presence, yet wears smaller, like a 44mm. very comfortable. It came on a $7 Z22-knock-off dive strap. looks very good on this watch.

Re: Seiko Monster Tuna or Tuna Monster...
For some reason, I didn't get that 637 in April. Last week, I did see a "buy it now" on Ebay for $210; from a seller with a 100% rating. He really wanted to sell this watch in a hurry. He did. Lowest price ever for one of these on Ebay. Few signs of wear; you've got to be 6 inches away to see them a...

I'm never going to afford a quarz Tuna. But for 25-30% of the Tuna price, I'm gifting one to myself for my birthday.

Seiko 7S26 caliber
Hello - Does Seiko offer a 7S26 caliber watch of 44mm+? A larger version of the SKX007/009 would be ideal. Thanks for the info.

How do you clean your G-Shock
I've got an orange GX-56. Looks great, but the case/band absorbs dirt and even body oil. The best industrial cleaners/degreasers I can get my hands on do not remove the stains. What do you do? Thanx - Michael

Re: The King has landed...
Hello - 14 months since my last post, and I've got my third King; black, negative display, red buttons and accents. Love the watch, but hate what I'm seeing on Ebay. There are too many counterfeit GX-56s out there.; some even being sold by sellers with a 100% rating. I found out the hard way; but th...

Re: The King has landed...
My new GX56 is on the way. Black with red buttons. I may ebay a bid on a black/blue buttons version. Prices on these are getting a bit weird. the orange body watch is about $350 or more. A black and purple watch (official watch of some singing group) is going for more than $1000.
