Looks a little plain in the dial. To me, the best feature of Damasko is the case hardening. Are these hardened?

I voted I don't care. If people don't want to see weapons I guess I'll have to photoshop my hands out of the OTW shots. Am I the only one who noticed this jewel?

Hyundai has definitely stepped up their game. Interesting how they are turning around the perception many had of them a few years ago.

42-44 is ideal. I'm starting to think anything bigger than 44 is too large even on my 8 inch wrist. Its personal preference, but we've all seen people pushing the envelope.

No teacher but I am enjoying a little summer vacation myself. Why only six weeks off? Is the school year in England longer than 9 months?

Nice looking watch-the lume has that vintage patina look already. I've seen other pics where the hands looked almost pink, but your photos are much nicer. Congratulations.

That's what I was thinking too. The one in my Fortis sure keeps good time. The 'tick'ing sound is a little loud I guess (possibly as much a property of the case as anything?), but it is pretty darn accurate. My Trimix has a 2636 w/GMT complication, and it too keeps great time. The 2836 can...

He was pretty much a novelty as a basketball player. His real legacy is in all the humanitarian work he has done to aid the people of his native Sudan.

Re: Scandinavian Hooch help
Thanks for the help-I'll see if I can find Acquavit, or the others at the liquor store. Even if they don't have it they can special order stuff sometimes. The drink on the show was homemade but seems like the same type you guys mentioned. If all else fails I'll try to make some at home.

Scandinavian Hooch help
Was watching a show on the Travel Channel the other day. They were in Sweden and drinking some vodka laced with black licorice. Supposedly, its pretty popular in the Scandinavian countries. Anyone know what I'm talking about? If so, is it any good and how would I go about making it?

The watch and the straps each have their own merit-but they don't work well together IMO.

Its okay-don't really see it rocking anything. A nice watch, and I like Steinhart, but the only thing seperating it from about a thousand other watches is the PVD.

Watchprince has Zulus in 3 or 5 ring which are thicker/heavier than a lot of others I have seen.

Great looking watches and pictures. They look especially good on the tropical rubber straps.
